Remembering Karyn Washington

WElevationMag • April 14, 2014 • No Comments

WE Magazine takes time out to share that a wonderful and beautiful spirit has left us physically, but her message lives on. Karyn Washington founder of For Brown Girls should be remembered for her contributions. She should be honored for the positive messages she shared with the world. She should not be judged for her actions. Instead we as a community should realize that the issue of mental health awareness should be talked about. We thank Yumnah Najah for this video and for sharing it with us. Many may not know, but WE Magazine interviewed Washington for our January 2013 issue. We could see that she was indeed changing lives with her brand. Your message lives on forever. Peace and blessings. ~ DeLisha Sylvester
